Gavin D. Caddy, Esq. is focused in Construction law, and an accomplished trial lawyer, who also practices in the areas of commercial litigation and general civil litigation. Mr. Caddy is employed part-time as a Hearing Officer/Magistrate for Broward County.

Mr. Caddy graduated with dual degrees in History and Science and Technology from the University of New South Wales, in Sydney Australia. He received a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Miami School of Law after also attending University College in London England. He was the President of the International Law Society at the University of Miami. During his legal studies, he was certified by the Florida Supreme Court to intern with the Attorney General's Office, where he represented the State of Florida in a variety of Civil Rights cases.

Mr. Caddy is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, and all of the State Courts of Florida. He is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association and former Construction Law Section of the Broward Bar. Mr. Caddy is currently serving on the Broward Bar Association's Building Committee.

Mr. Caddy has extensive experience representing owner/developers, landlords and contractors, prosecuting or defending all types of construction lien, bond and contract cases on both public and private projects. He has tried over 50 jury, non-jury, administrative and arbitration cases in construction, design, contract and tort and remains unbeaten before a jury. Mr. Caddy also has experience in drafting contracts tailored to his client's specific needs, and handles all manner of land use and real estate matters. He has represented corporations such as American Airlines, Citibank, Miller Construction, and John Deere.
