Biography

Jackson Pellingra practices primarily in the fields of construction and commercial litigation. He has litigated a wide variety of construction and commercial matters including construction defect claims and defenses, contractual/payment disputes, code violation cases, and contracting licensing matters. Mr. Pellingra also has extensive experience handling complex business transactions.

Before joining the Malka & Kravitz team, Mr. Pellingra began his career working in licensed construction prosecution at the Department of Business and Professional Regulation in Tallahassee, Florida and as a litigator at a boutique Palm Beach County law firm.

As a student at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Mr. Pellingra served as a general editor for the Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy while working towards his Juris Doctor degree. Before graduation, Mr. Pellingra completed internships at the Broward County State Attorney's Office in Ft. Lauderdale and a Miami litigation firm.

Mr. Pellingra is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar and U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
